- Launch of specialised programmes within financial technology and artificial intelligence
Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA) signed an MoU with the Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG) to advance talent development in Abu Dhabi. The two will offer new specialised programmes within financial technology and artificial intelligence that adopt and impelement global best practices.
The two parties will also coordinate assessment and development centres, aligned with quality standards that ensure the efficient exchange of knowledge and expertise within the relevant fields.
The new research-based training programmes will have an emphasis on technology-driven tools and techniques that are crucial for the future of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The launch of the programmes comes as part of both entities’ mutual goal to support the UAE National Agenda of 2021, which aims to position the UAE among the leading nations in ease of doing business, innovation, and research and development indicators. In addition, the training programmes will also help achieve government excellence for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and will facilitate the UAE’s objective of transitioning into a competitive, knowledge-based economy.
Her Excellency Alia Al Mazrouei, Acting Director General of Abu Dhabi School of Government, said: “This is an exciting next step towards ensuring the development of technical skills of government employees across the Emirate. The new programmes are a milestone towards achieving our vision to provide continuous executive education as we aim to overcome the challenges of the future, while shaping a sustainable workforce ready for new and upcoming job opportunities.”
